Any person holding a higher education degree, specially trained by the licenced training institutes defined as such by the law, can qualify to become a mediator and be listed in the list of Accredited Mediators at the Greek Ministry of Justice.
The Mediator is a third person, which the parties commonly agree and to assist them, in an impartial way, to reach a mutual agreement to resolve their dispute.
