Litigation taking years to conclude, courts overloaded and thus malfunctioning and other time and money consuming processes lead inevitably to look for new ways of alternative dispute resolution.
The Greek legal world needs to shift toward alternative methods of dispute resolution. The Mediation institution has been introduced in the Greek Law (l.n. 3898/2010) and is now part of the Greek legal reality.
Greek Mediation Institute – Synesis has been founded in order to promote the alternative dispute resolution methods, both in the legal world and the Greek society in general.
