Nana is a lawyer, practicing Law as an independent or in-house legal advisor and holds an LLM Degree from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and a postgraduate degree in “Business Studies for Lawyers” from ALBA, Athens. She is also a PhD candidate at the Law School of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, working on the “Resolution of conflicts in the business environment through mediation”.
In addition to her experience in counselling and litigating, she has gained specialization in Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR).
Nana is a Mediator (Civil & Commercial, Family, Workplace, School, IMAP, ODR) accredited in the UK, the USA and in Greece and an accredited trainer for Mediators (Toolkit Company – the Netherlands) at the Prometheus Training Institute, in cooperation with the Athens Bar Association & ADR Center (Italy). She has received advanced mediation training through the programs of MATA (UK), Harvard Negotiation Institute – Harvard Law School (USA), School Mediation (PMC – Dr. Jamie Walker) and International Mediation Advocacy Programme – IMAP (UK). She is a founding member of the Greek Mediation Institute – GMI, a non-profit organization, the purpose of which is to spread the idea of Mediation and to provide experience in the area of ADR. Since April 2013 she has delivered training to more than 400 lawyers and other legal and non-legal professionals, in Greece, Cyprus, the UK and India. For three years she has been a member of the Accreditation Committee of the Greek Ministry of Justice.
Nana participates in presentations, seminars and mediation simulations for educational purposes (Bar Associations, Chambers, Schools, Municipalities, ALBA Business Graduate School), gives lectures on mediation in Greece and abroad (UIA, ERA) in order to promote awareness among law professionals and citizens and she has taken part as a speaker or presenter in numerous national and international Mediation conferences and as a judge in competitions.
